2010 COOTAMUNDRA SHOWGIRL COMPETITION
Conditions of Entry
The competition is open to young women aged between 18 and under 25 years. The
Showgirl competition is not a beauty competition but is judged on appearance,
personality, charm, general knowledge, articulation, modulation, direction,
deportment, style and grooming. The winner has the opportunity to represent the
Cootamundra Show Society at the Zone Judging.
Entry Fee: Free
Entires Close: To be
advised. Entries close with the Secretary (Ph. 6925 9650)
Judging: To be advised. (All
entrants must be available to participate in both the interview and showgirl
dinner held on this day, as well as the Cootamundra Show).
Presentation: Saturday 16th
October 2010 at 3:50pm.

The winner receives the following prizes: A Cash prize of $200 donated by Collingridge Constructions, June Ward, Glenholme Hereford Stud and Betsy and Don Manwaring. An Item of jewellery donated by the Elliott family in memory of the late Allan Elliott. $30 Gift Voucher donated by The Loft Fashion House and flowers from Elizabeth Anne Florist. The Sash is donated by Miss Cathy Beveridge past winner of the Land Showgirl Competition. The winner will also be entitled to attend the Showgirl weekend held at Dubbo each year as part of the prize. In the event that there is only one entrant, and therefore not a competition, the cash prize may vary.
The runner-up receives: Gift from Phil Davies Pharmacy. Prize donated by Glenholme Poll Dorset Stud.

Ages are to be from 11 years to under 18 years as at October 16, 2010. Girls will be judged on presentation and personality.

Judging: 2:00pm October 16, at the Show
Presentation: at approximately 3:40pm

The runner up receives the following prizes:

Judging: 3:00pm Saturday 16 October, at the Show
Presentation: at approximately 3:40pm
