2009 XB Lamb Shearing Competition

XB Lamb Shearing Competition

Where: The 2009 XB Lamb Shearing Competition will be held at 9am on Saturday 17th October 2009 in the Colin Morrow Pavilion at the Cootamundra Show.
Time: 9am.
Entry Fee: Novice - $20
Intermediate - $25
Senior - $30
Open - $30
Best local shearer – no entry fee.
Entries Close: Registration must occur prior to the show by calling the Chief Steward and posting of an entry form one week prior to competition. The entry fee can be paid with postal entry by cheque. Cheques are made payable to: Cootamundra A.P.H. & I. AY Team. Entries are limited to 60.

Competitors compete at
their own risk (Recommended that each entrant be self insured);

regulations for this competition will be those of Sports Shear NSW;

competitors is required 30 minutes prior to the event on the day;

Where: The 2009 AY Team Beaut Ute Competition will be held near the Main Show Entrance on Saturday 17th October 2009 at the Cootamundra Show.
Time: Marshalling and registration closes at 12.30pm. Judging: will begin at 1pm.
Entry Fee: $5 per section for each vehicle. Note: entry to the showground is an additional $7 per person.

Where: The 2009 Pet Show will be held in front of the secretary's office (Alan Elliott Pavilion) at 2pm on Saturday 17th October 2009 at the Cootamundra Show.
Entry Fee: $2.00 per section - pay before 1.45pm in front of the secretary’s office, at the "Pet Show Entries Here" Table on the day.
Entries Close: 1.45pm on Saturday 17th October 2009.
Time: 2.00pm.

Conditions of Entry
The competition is open to young women aged between 18 and under 25 years. The
Showgirl competition is not a beauty competition but is judged on appearance,
personality, charm, general knowledge, articulation, modulation, direction,
deportment, style and grooming. The winner has the opportunity to represent the
Cootamundra Show Society at the Zone Judging.
