The Photography section at the 2009 Show

Entry fee:  $1.00 per item/adults. Children 0.50c per item. Members free.

2 entries only in each class.

Prizes include:

Champion Print – Trophy & sash

Reserve Champion Print – Trophy & sash

Most Successful Exhibitor – Trophy & sash

Entries, plus entry form & correct monies, to be delivered to the camera art Centre by 5.00pm Monday 11^th October 2010.

Alternatively, entries may be mailed to PO Box 44 Cootamundra 2590 by the same date. All photographs must be securely mounted

on cardboard (any colour), with a maximum 3 cm border. No frames, glass or matts. Tickets will be stapled to the cardboard.

Exhibitors name, class & section of exhibit must be clearly marked on the back of each photograph for judging.

All photographs must be recent (last two years) & taken by the exhibitor.

The same or similar image may not be entered in other sections by the same author.

No photograph that has been exhibited in a previous Cootamundra Show will be eligible to be entered.

Judging will take place at the Showground at 7.00pm on Wednesday, 13^th October 2010. Exhibitors & friends most welcome to attend.

All entries are to remain in the pavilion until 7.00pm on Saturday after which they may be collected.

Whilst all care will be taken in the handling & displaying of entries, no responsibility will be accepted for any loss or damage.

2010 AMATEUR SECTION

(Not earning in excess of $2000 p.a from photography)

COLOUR PRINTS: (Maximum size A4) Two entries per class

1.                  Landscape

2.                  People/Person/Child Study

3.                  Animal (Any living creature that is not human)

4.                  Touch of Red (Not more than 25% of red)

5.                  Mailboxes

6.                  Any other

NOVICE colour print: (Maximum size A4). For entrants who have not won a first place at any previous Cootamundra Show. Two entries per class

7.                  Any other

MONOCHROME: (Maximum size A4). Two entries per class.

8.                  Statues/Monuments

9.                  People/Person/Child study

10.              Still Life

11.              Fences

NOVICE Monochrome Print: Maximum size A4). For entrants who have not won a first place at any previous Cootamundra Show. Two entries per class.

12.              Any other.

DIGITAL MANIPULATION: Two entries per class. Entrants must submit the original photo (6”x4”), alongside their manipulated photo. Cardboard size is

not to exceed 40cm X 40cm.

13.              Any subject

Maximum of 2 entries per class. Maximum size 7’X5’’ (180mmX130mm)

Two age groups:

Age group must be mentioned with name, class & section.
